Whos ready for this hurricane

^^^I’m pulling an all morninger tomorrow :P

Bring it Hurricane Irene.

I ‘liked’ you on facebook ;)

So Governor Christie just released a statement saying “People, get the hell off the beaches. This whole place is gonna be wiped out. It’s gonna be a ghost town”

The mayor of Hoboken added, “The entire city will be flooded. Get out of your apartment, or you will be trapped with little rescue forces available. Any cars in the street WILL be ruined”

THIS HURRICANE WILL BE AWESOME

y’know, as long as everyone stays safe :D

It’s a cat 1 currently and might be a tropical storm by the time it hits new jersey. The media over-blows everything. People panic way too easy and I feel evacuations in some places was a bit premature. I got to finish summer work though before the power goes out (which I think will happen) but I don’t think the storm will be horrible.

^ They are making up for what happened in December. I know that if Mayor Bloomberg had not issued a state of er. for the city or shut down transit, we(NYer’s would have been on his ass. Especially after his failure and others back in December.

this soon-to-be tropical storm wouldnt be getting anywhere near 24 hr coverage if NYC wasnt in the crosshairs. Typical New York bias. Thats why NBA fanatics still talk about the Knicks like they’re relevant, and the Yankees coach is always on the hot seat

^^ back when it was Category 3. now it’s Category 1 and weakening to Tropical Storm status in the next 24 hours

My house is turning into the refugee place for our family and friends in NJ and NY. I live in PA near no lakes, rivers, or creeks in a fairly rural area.

If this was winter, it would be the same blizzard we had back in December which was “horrible”.
