<p>Yeah, the Ithaca cops dont care for the most part; the first week is the only week they really even come out. As was said before, as long as you use technicalities to your advantage and stay on private property, etc, you'll be fine, but its still worth it to stay aware.</p>

<p>LOL!!!! I've only really gotten into trouble twice with cops, but most of the time they are way cool...one even came out to eat with me and my friends once when we were totally smashed. Haha, I guess I like in a pretty safe place so they're kinda chill around here...or maybe I'm just not as badass as you. :p</p>

<p>Everyone says the cops around here are like discriminators (is that a word??)...I think they might be right though because my friends and I never get in trouble...one cop even said they are just out to get the "city-critters" who come into our nice little suburb! Haha...****ed up, I know, but what can I say, I love them for never giving me tickets/arresting me! :D</p>

<p>We have an in-school policeman/detective. So anytime something good goes down over the weekend, people get called down to his office and questioned. It REALLY sucks. My school is also drug-test happy, and we made it on the news 2 years ago because we had a narc who ratted out the school!</p>
<p>Haha...my school is such a joke. I've actually played beer pong with our principal!!! Not to mention, any time anyone gets in trouble he does everything he can to get them off. I LOVE IT :D</p>
<p>Haha, yeah, he has a 19 y/o son and he was playing beer pong w/everyone at the graduation party. Not to mention, he has gotten me out of trouble quite a few times...VERY TIGHT. :D</p>
<p>Wow I can't wait for college next year. High school is pretty fun but it is so much of a hassel to party. Unless you have a really good fake, you have to go into sketchy parts of DC to get alcohol, and then you have to worry about parents and cops. Cops where I live are anal about underage drinking because there have been so many teen deaths from drunk driving. They have a huge task force whose job is to screw us over. Its funny how cops in DC could care less about underage parties because they have to deal with murders and robberies while in MD the cops seem to only care about teen drinking because they have nothing else to do. </p>
<p>Most of my friends have gotten mulitple citations but I have escaped so far through a combination of luck and common sense. My question is if I get a citation between now and August 19th, which is a definite possibility, will Cornell find out, and if so will my admission be in jeopardy? Also what about a DUI, because I know this kid who has gotten two within the past couple months and I believe he is still going to Brown.</p>

<p>Haha, my friends always yell at me cus whenever we go out, I act as the key police. Not to mention, I *****ed out one of my friend's "cool" new boyfriend cus he was soooo proud of his DWI!!!!!!!! DRUNK DRIVING IS NOT COOL GUYS. DON'T MESS WITH IT OR YOU'LL HAVE TO ANSWER TO ME AND THAT IS VERY SCARY. </p>
