<p>I am ssssssttttillllllllllll waiting for the final decision regarding my admission. I was deferred, and submitted all they asked for. They told me they would let me know by mid March.</p>

<p>I have read on here that that message comes before a rejection letter is sent. I hope that isn’t the case. Now I am afraid to check OASIS today!</p>
<p>Why were you deferred</p>
<p>They would not say, but my guess would be that my SAT scores, while above the minimum, are not super high. They suggested that I send in a resume, recommendation letters & essay, and they would review it and let me know no later than March. My status on OASIS has not changed.</p>
<p>How did they tell you, you were deferred? Through oasis? Because I talked to someone I know in admissions and she said the message I got doesn’t always mean denied so I’m not sure what else it’ll say.</p>
<p>They sent a letter, which stated “We are deferring our final decision regarding your admission.” Then it went on to say that I could send in the supplemental items for them to review.</p>
<p>OASIS never ever changed. The message there has always read “We have not yet reached our final decision”.</p>
<p>It was a bit of a surprise to get the letter after checking OASIS every day and not seeing any change.</p>
<p>Any clarification on the rendered decision?</p>
<p>Anyone else out there still waiting? I am becoming concerned, it feels like I am the only one! I worry that my application is somehow lost (although I emailed, faxed and snail mailed everything twice!) and they won’t realize it until it is too late…</p>
