Who's Still Waiting

ndhopeful09 where are you transferring from?

shannon, which loyola? LMU?

shannon: as a proud grad of a jesuit hs I can say they are irreplaceable. Jesuits are fantastic people and you would love your experience with them (if you havent already)

NDFreak: well...I'm not really waiting anymore...I was going to William & Mary in Virginia. But I got a call from ND today (they called cus I need to enroll in this class quickly). And they're accepting me as long as I take another math class, likely calculus, over the summer and get at least a transferable C or better (I'll pull for the A cus I don't wanna take any chances, but whatev...I'm gonna work my ass off for the next 2 months in one class & make this happen. Good luck to you bud, I'd love to meet you in the fall.

I'm transferring from Stonehill College (MA) to Lehigh ... I applied to Loyola Maryland

ndhopeful09: I went to catholic school too (probably longer than you, and I am not even catholic)... not only that a lot of my close friends were/are jebbies... what I said was not meant to be an insult, and it does not say mean that I think any less of their education... If I did, would I have wasted $100.00 to apply to either?

waiting for an appeal from UCLA....waiting to get rejected that is...hahaha...hah...ha... :sigh:

NDFreak that would be pretty cool, although I belive ND would come out on top. I also think a spot in the Nat'l cahmp game for you might be on the line, but I am a doubtful of USCs chances after all their losses. I still think they can win the Pac-10 and go to a BCS bowl but a Nat'l champ shot this year will be very difficult. I expect ND to take it this year and Brady Quinn to win the Heisman and go #1 overall in next year's draft. I have yet to see the amazing freshman Rbs USC brought in and am not sure about JOn David Booty's health, so thats why Im unsure about USC's chances. If things fall into place it might happen. Good luck.

ohh no shannon...it was an endorsement, not taken at all as an insult. I never thought you felt that way. I wish you the best irregardless.

Congrats to everyone who's been accepted places...

And TrojanWannabe, I'm not sure that this will be ND's year just yet. The team looks good on paper but a brutal early season schedule could be too tough to overcome.

Another Trojan hopeful here, I'll find out by the beginning of next week.

NDFreak: I'm glad that you're one of the realistic domers out there, lol. ND has MAJOR issues in their secondary. Any team with a good passing game will give them problems. If they want to play in a BCS game (im not even talking the NC game) they'll need a bunch of people to step up.

Great point goldenjet. Opponents have been passing all over the Irish for years now. Charlie Weiss decided to spend extra time with his defense this spring after the Ted Ginn-Santonio Holmes show out in Tempe. If this is to be their year, the school's history is going to have to intercede like it did the last time ND won a title, 1988.

I appologize, Charlie WeiS.
