<p>Ahah, I saw the mimes, too. So they were filming for a cellular commercial? I hope I'm able to catch it whenever it airs! </p>

<p>My visit today pretty much clinched my decision. My mom loves the school and so do I, so now I get to sit here in my new NYU sweatshirt and anticipate being a student of NYU 2010 :D</p>

<p>Anyway, the 4/7 CAS reception was great. They split us into parent and student groups. It seemed to work as both my mother and I absolutely loved it (favorite reception yet). We were able to get all our questions answered since there was a relatively small number of people there. My mom was impressed by the dorms ("back in my day, we lived in dorms the size of closets, ate food from trashcans rather than 'dining halls', hiked through miles of -20 degree weather to get from dorms to class, blah blah"). But yeah, glad she's impressed because she's footing the bill...</p>

<p>EDIT: Just sent the $500 deposit in today! I can't believe my dream is actually happening...</p>

<p>nope it was being filmed. A little bit down mcdougall was the "backlot" for a movie set too. It was pretty cool.
