Who's taking June SAT1?

are you guys all ready for it??
i'm certainly not.. getting scores below the 2000's right now in the official study guide.
oh yeah, how are you guys studyign for the verbal??
i'm trying to force words into my brain with constant flahscards... but it ain't working!! panic..l ol.

I'm taking it....

I feel like I was more prepared for the March SATs. If my scores go down, I'm going to be very upset.

My writing score will definately go up; my practice tests were showing 780's, 790's and 800's, but on the March test I only score a 700. My math score, hopefully, will go up as well, because my most recent math practice has been showing 730's in comparison to a 690. I hope I can get my CR score up, but my SAT grade was the highest I had ever scored on one of them (680).

I've been studying, I just feel like I haven't been as concerned as last time. I haven't been doing a lot of practice tests (for lack of ones I haven't taken yet) but I am however reviewing my 1000+ vocabulary words. This helps in my opinion. However, with the AP Comp test in the past, I haven't been doing as much analytical reading with the passages.

LKFDGHSDFKHDFGH. My mom has been on my case about this for like, the past week. screams

I'm taking it too...well, I'm quite good at maths...hopefully I'll get a 800...but I usually get one question wrong during my pracyice tests because of my carelessness:( ....I also hope I'll have around mid 700's for the writing section(I quite like grammar...it has to do with logic...but I'm not very sure of my essay skills:P)... as for the cr section...well...I'm having really difficult problems... though I've started doing better...I'm struggling for at least 700...hope I'll get it... my vocabulary's killing me!!!!! and above all...I have a lot of other tasks to do... a week seems like just a second!

I'm taking it, but I'm frustrated with the scoring of practice tests in the Official Guide. I want a number, not a range 200 freaking points wide. There's a big difference between 2130 and 2330... I figure I'm somewhere in the middle, I guess.

wow, that's all good! you guys are definitely puttingin the effort ofr the scroes! on the other side of world... i am.... chatting away on msn - not studying for the vocab. i'm not too sure what book i should buy to get a set of wrods needed for the sat's. and im definitely worried abt writing!!! panicking really badly here. pooey! any suggestions on the type of books i should use to prep myself?

well... for a vocabulary list you should definetely try www.freevocabulary.com
it has 5000 words ...and I think you'll be pretty caught up with them for a while....I personally would also recommend Barron's book....I liked it a lot!...PR's CR is also quite nice....
ps:are you going to take the test next week? cause if so... you'd better close immediately your msn!

wow... 5000 words in 6 days. thnx, they all seem really useful, but it seems quite demanding :) but still, thnx, lakshmi! ummm as for msn.. it's too addictive... :D

I know...same here with my Ymess:D ...anyway...you'll probably know many of those 5000 words.... but there are some interesting ones.. and Barron's has also a 800 word list.... choose whatever suits you... I'm having a lot of problem with my vocabulary....and unfortunately I don't thik I'll be alble to solve them by the end of next week:( ...but I'm still working on it(or at least I like to think so:D)
good luck to you!

verbal i can handle. math Hijole! not on my life!

Yeah, I'm taking it. I feel a bit more prepared for the Critical Reading section. And, in any case, I made a lot more mistakes during the March test than I would usually make. I want to get at least 700 on that section, though. Math and Writing, as long as I'm not careless, I should be fine in...
