whoohooo im taking it too =D.... so far ive been scoring around 2200 on the practice exams.... but thats not really time constrained =S hopefully its easy lol

aaah, SAT's are all too real. 1 week away (on this end of friday, haha).
can someone please at least PRETEND to know something- just pretend to be one of those really important dudes who already saw the test and can confirm its forgiving curve and easy essay...
anyone?

and if the test is a terror, can we meet here and set up locations for the mass-suicide booths? jk, jk.
but can we at least post the address of the College Board so that we can bombard them with complaint letters?
sorry, just thinking ahead to the worst possible scenario...

If I do badly it may lower my self esteem for the test when I'm a senior. I'm surpised I didn't get a lot of flame for taking the test as a sophomore. Generally when I make a post that's thinking or acting ahead of time I get dissed.

I'm excited to hear what you march SAT takers think of it, since I myself am waiting until May :p

Maybe I'll keep my thoughts a secret. No I'll have to rant and rave about it here. Tear it apart or say how easy it was. I just hope the essay isn't on some stupid, "touching", topic. It can be on something deep I'll have an opinion about, but nothing stupid please.

Gosh I'm speaking as if someone writing the test will here me or something.

I've heard the topics will be very similar to the SAT2 writing test questions, and I really hope so, since those topics were very general.

What were some of the topics. I've never seen the SAT2 writing stuff.

I haven't seen it myself, but that's what many many of the people on cc have said. I'm sure there are some sat2 writers out there

I took a practice SAT and got a 1510 without the writing section. 760 verbal, 750 math.

hey ... did anybody use grammatix?

Not me..........

what's grammatix?

Yeah what's that. I assume it has something to do with Grammar?

its a SAT prep guide

Oh. In the little prep I've done, I've used the Princeton Review book.

If you take it your sophmore year, won't colleges see that score along with the other times you take it? Or do they just disregard it because you took it your sophmore year?

They will see it but who cares? If it is really that bad, they will see it was your sophmore year. If you got a 800 sophmore year, and junior year 2050 and then 2170, you think they will care about that 800? They will just think you had a bad day, were sick, etc.

Really? So they'll see the SAT score when I took it 7th and 8th grade? Because at that time I did it as part of a talent search thing. I'm kinda confused now..so they see your SAT score no matter what, but you choose whether they see your AP score? If you cancel right after you took the test--either AP or SAT--do they still grade the test but never send the score? Or what?

Yeah but they'll only count senior year I'm sure.
