I thought about joining it earlier, but then was dissuaded by the negative opinions expressed about it! Now, I'm back to thinking about it and I'm really leaning towards the program/class because it seems like it would be very rewarding, though a lot of hard work.

I am very interested in reading and a majority of the material, for the course, I am not quite familiar with but this is what college is all about right? Getting into new things?!?!? I only hope I'm not going to get into something I wont like??!?!

I would really appreciate some opinions or comments to help me get a better picture of what SLE entitiles!!

From a purely practical point of view, SLE might be worth it if you're willing to put in the effort. It's the equivalent of IHUM + PWR1 + PWR2, which might be convenient later.

was i the one who expressed negative opinions? because then i won't say anything...

but i think the best thing is just to sit in on a SLE class. if you don't get placed into a SLE dorm in AW, another CC member and I are meeting up for Wednesday lecture, so you could join us...

Hahaha, I think I read the negative commentary about SLE in the '09 and '10 forums.... I'm not sure. Really, I just want some exposure to some new material that I have never encountered.
