Who's turning down Harvard this year?

He sounds like the luckiest kid ever. Gets to go to H, but not until he takes a year off to Ski.</p>

<p>I, for one, didn't even bother to apply to Harvard----MIT is the place for me!!!! (that rhymes...and I totally didn't mean for it to!)</p>

<p>hmmm, i almost turned down Harvard for Columbia... well, i'm not sure yet. May 1 will be one of the hardest days of my life.</p>

<p>I turned down Harvard for Stanford. Stanford was my EA school and I'm from out west, if that gives context...
I honestly think I will have a more happy and overall amazing four years at Stanford and that's what I based my decision on, not prestige</p>

<p>I have a friend who got into Harvard and Columbia with a 2.9 GPA (yes, that's a 2) and he's going to Columbia.</p>

<p>And another senior was considering turning down Harvard for Brown or Penn, but everything is basically due now so she's probably made a decision. Just don't know which.</p>
