Any other transfer students waiting for letters? I wasn't really thinking about it, but now that regular students have gotten their letters, I'm a lil antsy...

don't worry, william and mary supposedly has high transfer rates. what are your stats?

My girlfriend is waiting for her's Her GPA is around a 3.7 and is a freshman. Her SATs weren't very good but hopefully they don't weight those too heavily as she has shown that she is successful in college.

transfer decisions don't come in until mid to late April from those I know. And viscious, SAT's won't count much once there is a year in college under your gf's belt. But since it's one year, her final hs grades could still play a factor i guess.

I got in as a transfer to W&Mary.

Congrats, cataxxx :)

I was lead to believe I would be receiving a letter this week. Caveat: I'm a local.

Too bad I'm not local (I'm from Romania :) ). 32,000 is a lot of money and I haven't applied for any financial aid :(...at least not yet.

I got in as well.

When did you find out you got in? This week?

CONGRATS, btw. Forgot to mention that the first time around :)

Dad got the packet at my home address in GA today.

any other prospective transfer students?

My girlfriend got in, anyways I was wondering if anyone knew how ResLife handles Transfers for Housing. Its obvious that it would be insanely difficult for a transfer student to secure off campus housing so I was hoping that they atleast hadsome kind of priority in getting housing.

I got in!! Aaaah, yayyy!!!! Good luck to everyone else :)

That's awesome, aelles. Congrats!

...and today I received my welcome packet! Woohoooooo!!!

:D

Congratulations flux!!

Has anyone heard from the west coast or a rejection? Trying to figure out if they are sending rejects in a separate wave.
