where from socal are you guys from?

orange county

Orange County

anyone from WA get theirs yet?? I'm about to cave and pay the flippin' $8 dang it.

darn. i'm in socal (los angeles) as well, but i didn't get mine yet :[

glendale...near la..u should have gotten urs by now

If I were to apply for a selective school and chose Biology, but my music theory score was a 3, w/ subscores of 2 and 4, should i withhold it or not? Which is better? Does it matter? Will the college, UC berkeley for example, take it seriously since im applying for a totally different major?

oh, and if i do withhold, will they know that i took the ap test or not?

Please help!

Do they specifically ask for AP scores? If not and you still decide to report them, it's not like you're promising to submit everything.

It also depends on why you took that exam. Is music one of your main EC's? Are you using your musical talent to give you an edge? If so, the 3 would hurt you.

Oh, and I'm almost positive that CB doesn't send scores to students until July 15. My sister got hers around July 17 last year, and I've gotten mail from Princeton University within two days as well.

i got mine today, plus, music is not even close to my main EC

It's really your choice. It wouldn't help you in any way that I can think of.

I live in California, but I didn't get them today.

This makes me sad.

Well, there's always tomorrow.

i could be wrong but i believe its better to just not withold ur scores cuz they are only beneficial they do not really hurt u. plus especiallly as juniors colleges wanna see that u took the course and attempted the ap not just were seeking points for gpa

From SoCal, and haven't gotten my scores either.. [San Diego]
If scores < 3, should I withhold them? Can I still suppress scores later, or should I not disclose them in the apps at all?

if u suppress them, does the colleges see that u have suppressed them or only see that you have taken the course but not the test?

***..i live in socal and haven't gotten them yet. And no post on sundays, so that means i gotta wait til monday eurgh.

I live in Silicon Valley and I haven't gotten them yet, too. OMG, your comments are all making me super nervous about this. This is only an exam, right? (Don't worry... I know the answer, ugggh.)

D got hers in the mail today (Saturday). We are in Northern Ca.--east bay area.

i havent gotten mine yet, but my friend who lives on stanford campus got them today
