From Orange county, me and most of my friends got them Saturday, so expect them on Monday for the rest of you Socal people.

dreamergirl88,

how did you prep for the AP Spanish test?

If they send them all out on the 15th, then why do they LIE and say they sent them out on the 2nd?? I hate College Board so much i can't put it into words, haha...

I dont get why a company from Princeton, NJ lets California get their scores first. It always seems like the southeast is the last to get scores.

yeah it sucks. mine will probably come while I'm in Texas. I would think that the scores would arrive in a logical progression from east to west, since CB is in Princeton, NJ.

A lot of people are talking about withholding scores, when it actually doesnt matter. I told all of my colleges that I had gotten a 1 on my AP Spanish test my sophmore year and thought nothing of it. And I still got into all the colleges I applied to (UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCD, UCSB). AP scores do not diminish your chances of getting accepted into college.

grr i live in texas. this doesn't relate to this thread but how come people from california usually apply to most if not all only UCs?

As far as I can tell from my friends, first part of the alphabet got em.

So they look at last names while sending scores? hmmm Anyone with J got them?

A couple kids in my area got them yesterday, but I didn't argh. And I'm in Philly - less than 40 minutes from Princeton.

yea, my last name starts with J and i got mine on Saturday (i live in cali)

mine starts with an F and i haven't gotten anything. hopefully they'll come on monday.

I live in cali and my last name starts with a P and I got them yesterday

b and got them yesterday.

my theory is that their mailing schedule is deliberately random so that in many areas only some people get them while their friends may not. that way ppl may feel pressured to call in for their scores so that they can compare scores w/ their classmates. lol

(im half-joking btw, but a part of me wonders if this is true...WHY SO ERRATIC??? i live an hour away from pton and nothing yet!)

kids in Philly got them?? That means it could be by last name. Crap! My last name starts with a V...

it might be COMPLETELY random also

I would think the randomness would have the opposite effect. If I were considering calling, then a friend down the street got his/her's, I would know that mine should be there the next day or so, so I would wait.

B haven't got em, wut if they are doing it by highest to lowest scores?

or just by school codes?

Last name B - absolutely nothing...
not that I'm all that anxious...I sort of stopped caring back in May...
