<p>Oh, and AP exams can affect admissions. To say having a 5 student and a 1 student makes no difference is nonsense. Of course there are more important things, but it's all part of the big picture.</p>

<p>Oh, and for many competitive colleges and the elites (and Ivies), every bit counts. So these AP grades become a big deal.</p>

<p>Hell, one volunteer program can make or break you, even.</p>

<p>I got two 4s and a 3 my junior year and I still got into 3 Ivies (turned all 3 of them down). Quit sweating the small stuff, you anal-retentive juniors (I mean seniors), there's more important stuff in life.</p>
