<p>Im getting letters from this organization called Who's Who Among American High School Students... does anyone know if this is really a scam or not?</p>
<p>I don't think it's a scam as such, but it's completely meaningless. As far as I'm aware they charge an exorbitant price for a book with profiles of whoever bought it. Anyone who includes it on his/her app will be automatically rejected and get the application sent back with LOSER written across it in red ink, and a videotape of adcoms pointing and laughing through their tears.</p>
<p>Not really, but you know what I mean.</p>
<p>it's BS so don't bother to send your info into them- I did a year ago and got nothing out of it</p>
