Has anyone else got the letter(s!) from who's who? Is this thing just a big scam? Do admissions people actually look at it?

If you want to do it, go for it. But it means absolutely nothing on the college application because EVERYONE gets the letter.

Thought so

Trash it. It's a scam.

Agreed. Anything that requires ridiculous amounts of money to see your name listed in a stupid book isn't much of an honor at all. Total scam.

Same for National Honor Roll.

But I Am One Of The Biggest Names In High School Academia According To Respected Members Of My High School Community Who Nominated Me!

How Is This Possibly A Scam. People Know Me, I Am Kind Of A Big Deal! I Want A Large Expensive Leather Bound Volume I Can Add To My Mahogany Bookcase To Remind Me That I Am the Fine Specimen of a Man That I Am!

edit: the thingy changed all caps to first letter capitalized.. i dont actually type this weird.

^^that was beautiful. aside from the unfortunate capitalization situation.

So for those of us who have no idea what you're talking about.. what's going on? =P Some invitation to have your name published in a book?

ramses...did i detect an anchorman reference in there?

We all know Who's Who goes to everyone, but in some rural areas if
you don't list it on a scholarship application you may look like you
didn't qualify for something special to an uninformed scholarship committee.

If they make you pay before you get the honor, then it's a scam.

yeah LOL xedx it's the mahogany
