@maya54 Wow! How rude to ask how a student is paying for college on a tour. I wish DD had said what she wanted to say because I would love to know the rude person’s reaction. But she handled it the right way since she was representing the school. My DS has gotten some “must be nice to have rich parents” comments regarding his ED application and acceptance into a private college. “Yes it is!” is his reply. He says the more you deny that you are fortunate to be born into an upper-middle-class family - the more the comments intensify. So he just admits that he’s lucky.
