whose status is still 'awaiting review' even if you applied before dec 1st?

I applied UW on November 25th and i hand delievered my international transcript
on November 6th. But my status didn't change from 'awaiting review' for two months.
and my present status is awaiting review.
and I called admission office and they found out that they had my transcript
and didn't upload it. they told me they apologize and they are going to upload it.

So my transcript is finally on my online status.
But my status is still 'awaiting review'

which is freaking me out

one of my friends who applied on 1/13, he already got acceptance yesterday.

What's wrong with mine?

is there anyone who is in same situation?

im really anxious about it.

Nothing is wrong. UW just takes a group of students early. The rest are in the regular pool notified late March. I have a friend that applied before me and he is still in awaiting review as well. He is in-state/from a small high school where most applicants are accepted so there is really no reason why I was accepted and he hasn't moved beyond "awaiting review". Are your stats similar to the stats of your friend? Is he in state residency? Just a couple of reasons that could cause the result to be slower for you...

Yeah..
But most of my friends' status are "all the materials are received" or "reviewing"
while mine is still "awaiting review". I was the one who applied very first among my friend.

the admission officer told me that they are too busy to upload the status so
they could have reviewed and might just send acceptance rightaway without changing
status. However, I don't think this is true.

I have 3.87 GPA, took 7 AP classes, average SAT, and lots of extracurricular.

I am really worried about the admission..

even people who applied on January, there status are ahead than me.
and etc...

but thank you for answering :)

your stats look good as long the SAT scores are in the mid range somewhere, I would think you should be fine.
