why 3 subject tests for 2006?

Kinda thinking about not even applying after i saw on the website that 2006 needs 3 subject tests, yet 2007 and only need two. Why did they choose to put more pressure on my class? Kinda mad.....

and should i take just another science subject test or a history or lit subject tests? I kno I could easily make a 800 on the bio test when i glanced over the section while taking another subject test.

maybe its because some people will have only taken the old SAT, and MIT won't be factoring in the new SAT writing for admissions decisions anyway for class of 2006 (according to a New York Times article)

If one SAT II is going to keep you from applying, well, um, that says a lot.

Ramsfan has it right - we're accepting the old or new SAT I this year, so we're keeping our SAT II requirement the same (as it has been for years) this cycle.

So will a 2007 HS graduate will only need a math and a science?

Yes, that is true. Since the SAT I w/ writing will be required at that point, only two SAT II's (a math and a science) will be necessary.

Yeah... trust me, there are any number of things you would experience in the first year at MIT which are many times harder than any SATII subject test.

Yeah! You just made my son happy.

yeah, i came off lazy, i dunno, i guess i want my last year of high school will a little memory.
