I don't believe that anyone with a $60k income is going to have a $0 EFC, but yet is appears that the 0 EFC is what is required to get matched. Is it more about using the application to forward for RD than about getting matched? If we do not have a $0 EFC should we not spend the time putting together financial documents, and all of the other busy work required in the match process and instead just use the app for RD?

Will some schools look at the desirability of the student and ignore that $0 EFC or just tell them to apply early or RD and admit them that way?

Thanks.
