Why am I scoring high on CB Parctice tests but low on Princeton review tests for the New SAT????

I have given 3 College Board tests and have scored 630, 650 and 690 on the CollegeBoard practice tests in Writing and Reading section, but I got a whopping 24 wrong out of 52 questions on the Reading section Princeton’s tests. Also, I find the questions rather tricky on princeton’s papers.
Are they really not according to the new SAT norms?

You should stick with the College Board tests to determine your progress in the Reading Section.
The other tests should only be for casual practice.
If you are worried about your performance try the Practice Tests #5 and #6
They are practically the 2 previous New SAT Tests.

Since the SAT hasn’t been out for long, most other Reading Practice tend to be inaccurate.

Third party test writers are able to inflate and deflate points that would slant you from your actual test result. This is often seen.

So, I should not be worried and keep working? @GMKoon @thehairbender

^ Yes! That’s actually pretty good all-purpose advice.

No, you shouldn’t.
After completing the first 4 sets I was pretty confident on the Reading and Writing Section.
I tried Barron’s and that confidence went down the drain.
Today, I did the Practice Test #5 and I got 52/52.
Stick to the CB tests.

While third party tests might (in some cases) be helpful for practice, they are never useful for scoring. Do not concern yourself with scores on non-CB tests. Ever. @sahil123
