Why Architecture + urban Planning degree

hi guys

I wanted to ask why you or some people wanted to do an architecture + urban planning degree?

are they two different things

how do you plan to work what you want to do with these two fields?

i need help trying to explain these two in details and how one person can combine it together.

An urban planner would be likely to be an architect, but an architect does not have to be an urban planner. An urban planner works on a large, city-wide scale. They might lay out the guidelines for wide sweeping changes, bike routes through a city for example. They would not have a lot of control in getting them implemented though, unless they work in the government sector, too. That’s pretty simplified. Try googling it.
