<p>I sure hope so...dd has the class rank and GPA (relative to her class...the class has NO 4.0 holders...none) but 1200 combined CR/Math (will retake), with great ECs and recommendations. I would hate to think that her college acceptances hinge on her SAT scores (she is retaking them...but still) which are the only weaker thing she brings to the application table. She is not applying Ivy or equivalent. She has chosen (because she LIKES them) schools that seem more likely due to her overall profile. To be honest, I think the work ethic one brings to the table is a better thing than the student who gets 2200+ SAT scores (new test) but has a B average...and I don't care WHAT high school they attend.</p>
