I'm looking over my Quickpay bill and I don't see myself being credited with the loans. On Bu Brain it says they have both my entrance counseling and promissory note. Why don't the loans show up.

Call the fin. aid. office, mine showed up.

Did you complete your Master Promissory Note, or accept your aid package online? If not, they might not be able to credit you with the loans. I don’t know from experience though, just speculating.

^ Would loans be considered part of this group? I’m pretty sure it is.

I don’t see the loans credited to my account, either… however:

I have satisfied all requirements well in advance of any deadlines, and also accepted everything well before July 1. I will call them on Monday just to confirm there isn’t a financial aid disaster brewing.

We need two promissory notes?

Outstanding Requirement Status Fund/Source Institution
Promissory Note Not Signed Federal Direct Unsub Loan

Satisfied Requirements
Federal Direct Loan Online Entrance Counseling On file Federal Direct Subsidized Loan
Federal Direct Loan Online Entrance Counseling On file Federal Direct Unsub Loan
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Received
Promissory Note Signed Federal Direct Subsidized Loan

Do you have anything under outstanding? I did all my stuff early july too.

"This balance only includes financial aid that has been processed and APPLIED to your account to date.

NOTE: According to federal guidelines the earliest Binghamton University can attempt to process federal financial aid is the week before classes begin and state aid (TAP) is processed around the 6th week of classes."

NYS TAP Grant & Scholarship is shown credited on my quickpay bill so i’m not sure what they mean by that statement.

So are none of yours loans showing up or only the unsub?

none. However, I’m pretty sure it says we need only one promissory note.

have you done everything they list here? [Binghamton University - Binghamton University: Financial Aid - Assure Aid Appears on Bill](http://www2.binghamton.edu/admissions/fin-aid/aidonbill.html)

it tells you how to check if you have any unsatisfied requriements thru bu brain.

I called the number from my student account. The lady said that it won’t show up, but your creditcard won’t be billed for the loans. She told me the amount that was really due by the deadline. Its just the amount that you see currently on your bill minus ur loan amount. (but they took off like $8 for the loans due to fees)

So if i call up they will give me an amount to enter on quickpay and that’s all I’ll have to pay.

you dont enter the amount manually, but the lady said the amount she gave me will be the amount that will appear on ur credit card.

so I basically put thousands of dollars on my credit card and get credited?

bump

.

The lady told me that that the amount that you’re suppose to be charged with will appear on your credit card bill. I’m going to call her again to make sure. I wouldn’t worry too much about it though.

My statement balance is $5583. (loans arent calculated in yet)
The due date is Aug 28th. Does that mean I have to pay $5583 by that date?
The finaid office told me that Aug28th is not the due date and I have until October. So, what is due on Aug28th? I’m confused.
