if you swear, do people get shocked when they hear you swear? I'm just a tiny asian kid who appears studious all the time I guess.

Yeah, people do get shocked when they hear someone swear who never swears or speaks badly. I guess it’s because they just view the person in such an innocent/good light that hearing that person swear sort of shatters their image of the person forever. Sorta like losing your virginity…to swearing. (O.o)
As for FPS games, I have no idea.

Same here. People think that all I do is sit at home and stare at books until I sleep. Lol.

I can definitely relate. It’s like a trip in the hallway, say a word I don’t normally do, and everyone gets quiet or gasps! lol. I say, “what?”. And they say YOU CUSSED!. I mean everyone does it at my school so it wouldn’t be that big a deal had it been anyone else, but everyone said it’s like hearing a five year old swear when I do. They say it’s just weird cause I’m such a “good girl”. Which is true I must admit, but seriously saying a swear word every now and then is not that big a shock I don’t think lol

Dan Brown (not the author) made a video about swearing on Youtube a few years back and said that the less frequently you swear, the more it bites each time you do. This could be good because unlike your classmates who can’t be taken seriously each time they cuss, you can get your point across with a single “f uck”.

^ haha that’s great. And you have a good point. Everytime I say something a little off key for me, people are like whoa, you must be really ****ed! lol
