Why are so many BC students disgruntled?

hi, on another site (studentsreview.com), a lot of student didnt like BC (if I remember correctly). They said the education was subpar, and that it wasnt worth the money. To me BC looks pretty good considering its got pretty good sports teams, and is in a cool city. So how do u feel about your school, and also can you comment on the prelew, and premed programs and give me average GPA and ACT/SAT (ACT Prefered)?

thanks

You should take into consideration that only student with strong emotional grudge or adulation made the effort to review the school they are at. To truly experience a college in its entirety requires four years. Many graduates come out of their college with a wider and deeper appreciation for their alma mater. It takes four years to create a deep bond, but only one minor incident to stirs up resentment against the school. Take those reviews into careful consideration, whether strongly positive or negative, because they might not accurately portraits the universal experience at the school.

I’m on my second year at BC so I can’t claim to have a total experience of BC. But with a retention rate of 95% it got to be doing something right.

I am an incoming freshman, so I read those posts on studentreview, and i became a little hesitant considering BC was my top choice. I went ahead and picked it, and even though i haven't yet started, i had an amazing time at orientation and everyone i met was extremely excited and enthusiastic about BC. all of the faculty members i've met go out of their way to help you, and my fellow freshman as well as the upper classmen are energetic and excited...i didn't meet anyone who were sad to be at BC or called it their saftey school. i would definitely take all comments on the web (including mine) with a grain of salt; you have to visit and spend the night to see what BC is really all about, to see if it matches up with you.

I am going into my Junior year at BC, I will admit it wasnt my first choice, but now I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Everyone comes to love it, so for the incoming freshmen, please dont take any negative comments to heart. Make your own judgements, and I am sure they will be good.
