<p>It's all structurally reinforced so that in the case of the nuclear holocaust, all the important people (i.e. engineers) survive both the initial blasts and fall out, allowing America to be rebuilt on the minds of our best and brightest, i.e. not North Campus majors. Either it was something like that or the fact that South Campus is built into the side of a giant hill.</p>
