<p>Maybe you should also ask why there are so many relationship threads that are still being posted on six months after they were started.</p>
<p>sometimes advice from strangers is the best cause there is a higher chance that the advice is unbiased.</p>

<p>Maybe because college 'relationships' are so fickle and often end quickly, leaving one or both people involved feeling hurt and miserable.</p>
<p>(and before you ask, no, this didn't happen to me, and it won't happen to me as long as I don't pursue such said "relationships")</p>
<p>It's just the demographic. A site populated by hardcore overachievers like CC should have a disproportionately large number of socially inept individuals who need help with friends and dating. Mystery solved.</p>
