Like I mentioned earlier, my son's Wolverine Access is still saying "Application is not complete"... but it doesn't say WHY.

He has called two times now... once, before the deadline of Feb. 1st and he was told not to worry, that WA was just not up to date. Then he called today and was told the same thing.

Even though he asked, they did not look up his record to tell him what he is missing. How are we supposed to fix the situation if we don't know what's missing? Can we resend it? Is it too late now?

WHY are we getting no answers?? Argh.

You’re not getting any answers because they get hundreds of calls just like yours about incomplete applications when there is no problem at all. The application materials are all received typically two weeks after they are sent, and it can take Wolverine Access another couple of weeks to update. So if your son has submitted his application within the last month, then that’s probably the case. If he applied before then, then I’m not sure. They have received several dozens of thousands of applications and probably an order of magnitude less phone calls and e-mails and they have to respond to each one. They figure your situation can wait, I suppose.

In extenuating circumstances, as long as the common application is submitted on time, the other materials can be sent in late for good reason and be considered part of the application. It’ll all be sorted out, things like these happening aren’t exactly rare.

Bless your heart and thank you so much, entenduintransit! That is just what I needed to know… that all hope is not lost.

I figured that they were getting scores of similar phone calls. We don’t want to be pesty. But it would only take a minute to look up the student’s account and see what is missing. Even better would be for Wolverine Access to say exactly what is missing. Just seeing “Application is not complete” is only half of the information.

Thanks again!

Trust me, this happens a lot. Most of the time, it just means that they haven’t gotten around to updating the wolverine access check back in a week or so, and of the issue prevails past that, you can always call again. Part of the delay may also be the fact that, with a February deadline, Michigan may have gotten an influx of applications recently. Good luck, and I’m sure it’ll all work out :)
