That is one of the question in the common app and i have no idea what to write. This is my safety school and i honestly don’t want to go there.
some pros:
-close to home
-cheap
-good engineering program
-same high school people
but none of those are really outstanding. like everyone would write about this.
When in doubt, write what they want to hear, lol. This is their “About” page:

They list out all the things that they consider to be assets. They also hint at what they value about students:

So you could write about how you want to go to CCSU because you want an engineering education that goes beyond teaching you the basics and pushes you to stretch the boundaries of blah blah blah. Or mention an interest in studying abroad or applying your education to a community of people who are different from you. Or even just writing about a desire to work in Connecticut.
Things like this will show them that you’re a good fit for their school because you value what they value.
