I thought that usually, these things come up on the fifth day (Friday) of the third week of the preceding quarter. I've been carefully keeping track for a year now:

Autumn Quarter 2010: Posted on Friday, April 16, 2010 (Week 3, Day 5 of Spring Quarter 2010)

Winter Quarter 2011: Posted on Friday, October 15, 2010 (Week 3, Day 5 of Autumn Quarter 2010). This is taking into account the fact that the first partial week (starting on Wednesday, September 29, 2010) counts as a full week for the purpose of counting weeks in this quarter. So the schedule was posted on the thirteenth day of the week, not the fifteenth.

Spring Quarter 2011: Posted on Friday, January 28, 2011 (Week 4, Day 5 of Winter Quarter 2011). I don't know why it suddenly changed from Day 5 of Week 3 to Day 5 of Week 4. I remember really looking forward to Friday, January 21, 2011 and then being disappointed that it wasn't up yet. Then I checked every day afterward and it wasn't until seven days later that it was finally up. Maybe we have to wait until Day 5 of Week 4 this time again?

I've heard from somewhere in the past that it's up on the day that tuition is due, but I think that's Day 5 of Week 2. Wasn't this board saying that Early Fall Registration is ready? That only applies to freshmen, right? So it doesn't have anything to do with me? Sorry, it's just that this is a big deal for me because it determines a lot of my credits and courses until the year 2012, as well as my work schedule for the most part.

It was supposed to show up today, however sometimes it appears late. Nothing you can do about it. It’s an administration thing. The url I posted in another thread states that dates are subject to change.

Wow, thanks! This is great. And here I was, thinking I was all clever for thinking I was the only one in the world who kept track of this information, when the exact same thing plus more was readily available on the internet. Oh well. If it’s late, it’s late.

what actually is a “class schedule”? Is it just the times/days of the week you meet of all the courses for autumn 2011?

It’s this:

Two days late and the thing still is not up yet. I think at this point, it’s safe to say that for whatever reason, we’ll need to wait until Friday again before it’s up. I thought it was always up on the Friday of the third week of the preceding quarter, but I guess not. Before I knew that the exact dates were posted at [UW Registrar: Time Schedule Production Calendar 2011-2012](http://depts.washington.edu/registra/staffFaculty/calendars/tscal1112.php), I assumed it was always the Friday of the third week. So I got my hopes up on January 21, then checked every following day for the next seven days. Maybe every future quarter from now on will be the Friday of the fourth week instead. Very annoying, but if it’s an administration thing, is there an e-mail that we can send complaints to so they can hurry up?

Per my link it was supposed to go up the 15th, but dates are subject to change. Since a person makes the schedule go live, it was doubtful it would go up on a weekend. It will go up whenever they’re ready. If it’s not up tomorrow, maybe you should call the registrar’s office and ask them when it’s going up

so all those course descriptions change quarterly!?

Is that the one at the very bottom where it says “Time Schedule and Room Assignments Office?”

It’s up! Go check, you guys.

yep, i saw it pop up around noon
