Hey, I go wherever the action goes.

Can knowledgeable folks please let me know how useful is IITJEE preparation from the point of view of SAT subject tests and AP exams? Though I am not very interested in IITs, I am wondering whether to enroll in some IITJEE preparation program (e.g., FIITJEE Pinnacle) if it helps with SAT subject tests and AP exams.
Thanks.

Dude. SAT subject tests come NOWHERE near the difficulty level of the IIT JEE exam. I think just flipping through the SAT SUBJECT TEST books the day before the exam should be fine.

If you have your basics right, the subject tests are really not that difficult. I should think that preparing for IIT JEE will confuse you.

I can only speak for Maths, but I agree with Ayush. Flip through the subject test book a week before (so you can work on grey areas if any) and give one practise test or two (from Barron’s, preferably) and you’re good to go.

Thanks for the replies folks. Will the IIT preparation help in AP exams? Has anyone here gone/going through the FIITJEE Pinnacle program? As I mentioned, my main focus is on applying to U.S. universities. I am wondering whether enrolling in the Pinnacle program would hurt or help if one’s interest is in studying at U.S. universities.

Nail biter in Jaipur!

The game went down to the wire. Amazing game!

Don’t know if the 5th ball save was legit. Anyway happy India won. Hats off to SA for making it a close one. Sorry for the digression. I thought I was posting on TiT.

Who cares? India won! None of us here are going to IIT anyway :).
