<p>Okay so I called two schools to inquire about my application for admission. One school said that I would be recieving a letter mid feb. I applied to this school in Oct 06' for Fall 07' entry and the wait is killing me! The other school noted that it would need six more weeks, considering transfer applications are evaluated on a different scale and by more adm. directors. How can I find out over the phone? What more do they want? I always give them my S.S. number, correct name/address, birthdate and they still can't tell me? Any Ideas?</p>
<p>Given that most schools don't notify students until March-June, it's not surprising that you aren't receiving any information now.</p>
<p>Also, you cannot just "find out your decision" whenever you want. It's their decision when to release such information.</p>

<p>I believe the national candidate reply date is May 1st so you should be hearing something by the end of april or hopefully before. </p>
<p>If the schools you applied to have a march deadline for transfer (like most do that aren't rolling) dont expect anything till after then!</p>
