seriously people, does all this feuding HAVE to happen? it's just silly. i'm just as cynical as the next guy, just trying to make it through, but really...
we're all entitled to our opinions, and my opinion is just as wrong as everyone else's.
either way, let's play nice. bickering over details isn't helping anyone! if you think KP is the greatest school in the world and USNA sucks, then so be it. or if you think nothing can compare to the education and training that takes place at Annapolis, great. bottom line is that arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics... even if you win, you're still retarded.

(that is not a bash on handicapped people, just a catchy phrase that i've adopted to illustrate my point).

now now is2day :) you just took the fun out of our little sparring match. Come on us silly adults need some goofy fun in our life, and this just happens to be the fun du jour.

I think if we had an itsy bitsy more sense of humor and a few less chips on our shoulders, this could have all been taken ALOT less seriously!!!

On this topic- link to a summary of lecture given to the Corps of Cadets at VMI this week by Author Stephen Carter is below:- the subject is civility in society. It seems timely and perhaps will be more so as we go into the home stretch of not only the campaign but the whole financial bail out argument. If you can't approach things from the standpoint that honorable people can disagree and still be honorable and intelligent- the society is in real danger.
