I can understand if the college board wants to charge for early grades, but why are we still stuck with an antiquated call in system. For $8, they could surely afford to copy the one used for SAT scores.

IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED YET, COLLEGEBOARD JUST WANTS MONEY. WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO SEND YOUR SCORES TO MORE THAN 10 COLLEGES- $18 EACH!!!!! AND I HEARD THEY SEND THEM ONLINE TO THE COLLEGES. IT DOES NOT COST $18 TO SEND AN EMAIL. I DON'T KNOW WHY EVERYTHING COSTS SOMETHING! YOU WANT TO GET YOUR SCORES EARLY- OH THAT'LL BE $8 AND YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING. YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SAT ESSAY WAS SCORED CORRECTLY- OH, THAT'LL BE LIKE $60. I'M SORRY BUT FOR THOSE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR SATs, SAT IIs, APs, AND SENDING SCORES TO COLLEGES, THE MONEY THAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR IS WAY WAY WAY TOO MUCH. NOT EVERYBODY HAS $50 TO TAKE THE SATs. WHAT MAKES ME EVEN MORE ANGRY IS THAT EVERYTHING THEY DO (OR ALMOST) IS ON THE COMPUTER. IT DOESN'T COST ANYTHING TO PLUG EVERYBODY'S SCORES INTO THE COMPUTER AND AUTOMATE AN EMAIL TELLING EVERYBODY THEIR SCORES. BUT THAT IS JUST TOO MUCH TO ASK. IF THEY ASKED ME TO DO IT, I'D DO IT IN A HEARTBEAT.

Because the Collegeboard robs us of our money while offering us minimal services.

Nor does it cost $30 to print out a crappy paper full of nondescript circles that are used by innocent students taking the SAT. This paper is then forced into a crappy scantron that frequently makes mistakes, which then produce less than desirable scores for students who actually studied, which in turn makes the students suffer minor heart attacks. Without the Collegeboard, the world would be a better place.
