I am the type of person who is not very good at using words to express what he feels, thus I knew I wanted to join the electrical engineering program at BU but I was struggling to answer the question tell us why BU is a good fit for you. I knew that studying at a lager university will give me the opportunity to meet people with diverse backgrounds and interests, but that was not all that interested me at BU. After I started my application process, I received from the admission office an e-mail that summarized what I have always expected from college. Are you excited about studying and conducting research with faculty who are among the most acclaimed in the world? Do you want to be challenged in and out of the classroom with cutting-edge research projects and global internship programs? It was an epiphany, the director of admissions, John C. McEachern, put words on this thing deep inside me that was pushing me to apply to BU. In addition, after spending a bit more than one year in the greater Boston area, I fell in love with Boston and I now consider it as my second home. I know that BU will be a good fit for me because it will help to attain my dream of becoming an electrical engineer, and the feeling of being home. What more could ones ask for? Except to have the opportunity to participate in the Research in Wireless Communications Using the Visible Spectrum, that is currently conducted at BU.</p>
