I'm just curious as to why some of you decided to apply to CMC. I originally had my sights set on big schools (U of Texas, U of Michigan-Ann Arbor - those types), but when I visited CMC, I liked the environment/atmosphere alot and just felt like it was a good place to spend 4 years at.

Your turn! :)

CMC places great emphasis on leadership and real world applications of knowledge. * I really like the idea of being around other super ambitious students who are not driven by grades and textbooks, but driven by big dreams for their futures.

I love the whole set up of the consortium of five completely different colleges. It really caters to people who know what their MAIN focus is, but still have a variety of other interests.

Location! I don't want to leave So-Cal just yet. The school is close to home, but not TOO close. It's not a difficult drive to or from home, but it's a long enough drive that I wouldn't be able to commute everyday.

I found CMC through princteon review's counselor-o-matic and fell in love immediately. I know I wanted to stay on the west coast because of the weather. I love the work hard play hard motto and the emphasis on leadership. That was why I liked the school at first, but I have yet to find something I don't like.
