Why [College Name]? Essays

<p>I'm applying to transfer to 6 diffrent schools and all ask 'Why [College Name]?' question and I was wondering if i can use the same essay for all of them and just change the school name? I'm interested in all of them for similar reasons (small, academically challenging, liberal arts schools, ect) so I feel I could get away with using the same essay for all. What I'm worried about is schools cross checking for plagerism or something and seeing that they were all very very similar. </p>

<p>Many people do this, and colleges won’t see what you submitted to other colleges (unless you accidentally forget to change the college name). I would recommend inserting details that are specific to the college you are applying to as this shows your knowledge about the specific college rather than a generic essay that could apply to hundreds of colleges.</p>
