Why Dartmouth?!

Since the 'Why Dartmouth?' isn't an essay for the school, let's make a list of the reasons why we love Dartmouth, just 'cause the school is great. :)

I'll start...

D-Plan!

SKI SLOPE!!

I hate urban settings (which is why I applied to Dartmouth ED, not Yale SCEA)

Great Community

Greek Life

President Kim is sooo awesome

Not the strongest art department, which means that I would be able to continue taking photography classes in college

I can get a car at least in my sophomore year

Great “vibe”

#1 Undergrad teaching

Loved, Loved, Absolutely LOVED my interviewers (I had two)

THE DARTMOUTH AIRES!!! EVERYONE DON’T FORGET TO VOTE!!! (:

Studying Abroad!

Snow (if you’re a Wintry person)!

The Lodge!

Dartmouth Green!

I hope that you and I can be alumni too, and meet Seniors at Starbucks!

Sophomore summer

Pong

You can pretty much do whatever you want.

outdoor club!

I hope we all see each other in Hanover in the Fall… :)

Winter Festival (:

Awesome Alumni Network

A friend of mine goes there and she loves it

Club Volleyball! Not that it’s exclusive to Dartmouth, but still. I’m really excited (:

Dartmouth will accept most of my AP Credits, unlike other Ivies and Ivy+s! I can either elect to take 2 courses per term or graduate in three years… or just be on campus two terms a year. I’ll have to be there for club volleyball and ski season, so… :D

@BigGreen2016
Hellz yeah, fingers crossed! I really really really hope we both get in! WOO

Tea time!

All of the really nice people!

Great financial aid packages!

Strong in every area-- so if you change your mind halfway through, you’ll still be good to go!

The Rassias Method and the language proficiency requirement!

TRIPS. All of you, if you get in, GO ON TRIPS. Trips is the best thing ever. I mean it. Also, the community here is incredible. Whatever you’re involved in can become your family if you want it to. Also, being in New Hampshire like this, with the ability to go hiking or kayaking or canoeing or climbing or just general exploring ANY TIME YOU WANT is the greatest thing in the world and also a totally amazing study break.
