<p>I figured since we already have to write an essay on this topic why not put why we like Davidson out there for the other CC readers. This kind of information is what pushed to apply Early Decision so I hope that this thread helps others too.</p>
<p>At Davidson I first of all loved the campus. It's just big enough to not feel cluttered but small enough that you are always within walking distance from everywhere.</p>
<p>I loved that Davidson had a lake campus because not being on the water would be hard for me to swallow.</p>
<p>I really liked the Student Union and all that it had to offer even though I visited in the summer and didn't get to see any students in action.</p>
<p>And the sorts complex was phenomenal too.</p>
<p>Not to mention how wonderfully well-rounded Davidson students become during their years in college. </p>
<p>I also liked that the admissions process is very selective, it gave me a goal to strive for. Because of rules in my state if you are in the top 10% of your HS class then you are automatically accepted to the state universities. Because of that I have no motivation to try hard on my application because I already know the outcome. So when I saw that Davidson has an acceptance rate around some Ivy Leagues, I was impressed and I wanted to prove I could get in if I try.</p>
<p>Those are just a couple reasons I want to go to Davidson.
