I'm curious. Every person I've come across says that they hated high school; I wanna know why.

Just got tired of it, I guess I had a great time while it lasted... but I'm the complete opposite person of what I used to be in high school, so I'm not exactly pround of what I used to be.. so in my eyes now, I hate high school.

I wouldn't say I hated it, but it really wasn't fun being stuck with the same people for years and years and years, especially if you didn't even like them.

rules rules rules

because i got to college and realized what i'd been missing out on..

being stuck with morons.

my college wins because most people know how to spell "there" in the correct context. they're at my level. ;)

All of the above.

I think it's more of the fact that college is just so much better than high school.

I know you guys teared a bit during graduation, and swore to visit each other in the upcoming years ;).

the only thing i didnt like about high school was the stupid drama going around
otherwise it wasnt THAT bad

The only reason I have a highschool degree is because of a very special principal who let me drink beer and play bass and smoke dope, because I told him I'd cut out his eyes if he didn't let me graduate.

^^Lol. I guess I don't currently like the rules and restrictions. I feel claustrophobic sometimes.

I wouldn't say I HATED high school, per se. I really loved my teachers and my guidance counselor, and I have a lot of great memories. That being said, the hours I spent in my classrooms bored me to tears (sometimes literally), and all of the busywork just drove me nuts.

I really hope that in college I'll be more challenged, because high school was really rough in that regard.

I hated the busy work and the hours.

if you hate high school, you probably were a loser. Sorry thats just the truth....it is what you make of it

That's not exactly true at all.

college is definitely much better, but I still liked high school

where'd you go to high school in miami burgler09?

I didn't hate it at all really. It's just that college is a lot better. There's just so much freedom, and everyone remembers senior year in college when you really thought you were ready for everyone to stop babying you and let you grow up but it was the same stuff you'd dealt with for a few years.

I mean, I had friends and I'm still friends with most of them now even though I go to school out of state, I went to a few parties but my parents were pretty strict so not that often, I never had any homework so I had after-school free to do whatever I want, and I excelled in a competitive activity, so that was fun.

But I also was barraged with assignments to make sure I'd read the three pages from the night before, every day (thankfully not in every class, especially the APs). I had to sit in classes with people who were just there until they turned 16 so they could drop out. I had to deal with ridiculous highschool rules that may be necessary for freshman, but aren't at all for seniors. I had to deal with limited course offerings, and even though my school really wasn't very cliquish, there were a lot of drama queens who enjoyed making trouble, and it was harder to avoid them than in college.

So basically freedom.

I didn't really hate high school, I just hated how people in HS didn't really want to be there and they would cause trouble and interupt the learning process. In college, most of the people want to be there and get their money worth, so there are less problems. It also kinda sucks when you've been around most of the same people from pre-K to senior year.
