I bought the Kaplan ACT book, studied for about 2hours a night, took the practice tests and I was determined I would conquer the ACT. Don't have a good history with math, but I knew if I tried I could do well. But guess what I got, a 19!!!GOD why do I suck at life..

Well, what all did you find difficult in the test? The ACT doesn't inspect you and spit out a number; you inspect it. So you must know what your problems were (other than math, which you just need to practice at). Gather them, correct them, and retake.

o_o' Maybe you got nervous! >/ Knavish my buddy I miss you. xD Guess who's this? Ohiogirl07, just keep practicing. =] Goodluck!

Did you sleep well?

Because, in fact, the adverb form of "bad" is not "badd" but "badly."

the PSAT pwnz the ACT

Ha ha "badly." x] Good one, Effulgent. Just practice or take a test prep center. oo;;; Whatever you call it.

Effulgent:omg shoot me, grammer freak...ever heard of slang dummie?

could you have mismarked the test? skipped an answer or something

or did you not understand the math

or did you know the math, but were nervous

determine what the mistakes were made and why

you haven't said why did you not so well

i think thats the precice problem perhaps. HAHA I like the letter P. Anyway, it doesnt seem ohio knows whyy.

haha this thread died quickly.

I tried kaplan for the SAT and did terribly too. I don't know...maybe you're a bad test taker? I did terribly, when before I had always done well on standardized test, but for some reason, the SAT and I don't mesh. Try taking it again with another study book.

"it's just a test."

rinse and repeat.
