<p>I got accepted on the 4th of February... but I thought they send out decisions in late March/early April.</p>
<p>I also got admitted to the Honours Program... does anyone know exactly what this is?</p>

<p>Northeastern received nearly 43,000 applications this year, the most for any private university in the US. It appears that they are offering admission to top students early. This is a new practice.</p>
<p>Decisions come out on a rolling basis. </p>
<p>The Honors Program is for the top students and is considered slightly more prestigious. Honors Program students often get the top internships at the top companies, both domestically and internationally. I believe there is even a seperate Honors Dorm if you are interested in that. Good job, the honors program is one of the
top programs in the northeast and is very competitive to get into.</p>
