**Also I made a typo in the “motto” section of my application and did not self report SAT/AP scores at it was my first application. I did send SAT and AP Scores, however: should i call them about this?
Ah, a fellow League player! It seems like a lot of well qualified applicants were deferred this year at Georgia Tech unfortunately. Don’t take it badly, you still are a strong applicant.
I had 35 on ACT with strong credentials as you do. I’m a female with Georgia residency and still got rejected! Have no clue why but I think you can get in
Good luck
I think you have a good shot for RD. Indian male does hurt, and it seems that we have it rough this year. Two other possibilities for the deferral could be computer science and weak essays.
Sorry, I’m kind of new to the whole college application process as both my parents went to college in India - does deferral mean they look at your whole app again? So I can submit a different common app essay if I want to?
@Easyhoon It means they will compare your application with everyone else’s and then make a decision. They want to see how you stack up with the regular applicants.
