Why did they bump up Cum Laude/Latin Honor GPA requirements?!

For 2010, and even on my DPR, the minimum GPA for Cum Laude in Colleges of Letters and Sciences was 3.66 exactly. And now, as of 2010-2011, it is 3.684.

Noooo!!! =( I may end up with a 3.64 this spring (haven't gotten all grades yet) and I would have had senior year to just get my GPA by .02

Getting it up .04 is...IMPOSSIBLE!!!

More kids coming in majoring in north campus I guess.

Edit: Film TV 133 if you haven’t. That might boost it a little. 2 hours per week, 4 units, easy A[.](http://www.aim.ucla.edu/FAQs/classrank.asp)[/u]

So for the recent graduates, does that mean they have to get a minimum GPA of 3.684 in order to be awarded Cum Laude in Colleges of Letters and Sciences or does the 3.66 remain the same until the Fall 2011 quarter? Thanks!

Another question-

According to the DPR, it states, “Honors with the Bachelor’s Degree are awarded according to your overall GPA at GRADUATION.” Again, for recent graduates, will their grades for the latest spring quarter be factored in or is it just based on their overall GPA at graduation, which means that the spring grades that comes after graduation are NOT factored in…Thanks!

I can’t tell whether that was a joke or whether you’re just stupid.

In either case I was bored so I went here:
[UCLA Office of Analysis and Information Management | AIM](http://www.aim.ucla.edu/degrees/degrees.asp)
did the math, and found out that it’s been a consistent 65% north campus 35% south campus in the College of Letters and Science for the past several years.

And to angrystudent, I’m pretty sure that you’re recognized at graduation based on your winter grades, but your spring grades dictate what will be on your actual diploma.
