What is your desired major and why did you choose it?

International Relations, because I wanted a broad liberal arts and social sciences education with an international focus that could prepare me for just about any job out there.

I’m planning on majoring in History, or something along that field. I knew I wanted this since I was about 7. It’s just always interested me, I love to write as well.

I like sports.

I’m an econ major because I liked the thought process after taking intermediate micro in college.

Job prospects.

This + because I want to study something I enjoy.

My prospective major, IR, is in no way set in stone.

I was interested in political science and history so I majored in interdisciplinary social science were I was able to study both. So far this degree has proven useless in the past year so if i could do it over again (and I might have to) I’d double major in computer science and mathematics.

It had the most classes I would have taken anyway. I don’t think I took a single class I wouldn’t have signed up for on my own, although there are many I would have signed up for that I didn’t have time or space for.

I love History and now want to pursue it as an academic discipline.

Do what you love and you will succeed at it and in life.

engineering… I wasn’t really interested in anything so I chose a major with high demand and a good salary

business didn’t seem like the clear-cut path it once was.

Civil engineering because I love construction.

Haven’t entered college yet, but as of now I choose computer science for the job prospects, and because I took some comp sci classes and did well on the AP exams.
