ConLax11, I knew Yale was urban because it was in New Heaven. However, I was looking at a response before my "yale suburban" response because that person said I should drop Yale if I liked cities. So I was like, "hmm...? New Heaven is not a city!?!" But yeah, maybe I interpreted that post wrong, but in fact, I have visited 12 schools (or more that I can't even remember) and have two college guides that I am about to read again after I type up this response. In fact, I've visited all of the Ivies except for two. I believe I know them pretty well as a college-bound student.

I don't think I'm going to apply to northwestern, penn, or brown. I visited all of them, but I didn't feel like they're right for me for several reasons.

Also, should I do U-mass?

Yale
Harvard
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Barnard
U Mich -Ann Arbor
U Wisconsin - Madison
BC

There you go.

Thanks guys for the lists! I will look into them... >< and by the way, is there a disadvantage if I applied to both Columbia and Barnard?

No.

And I still think you should strongly consider mine :D.

haha thanks By the way guys, is there an organizational strategy for applying to so many colleges, which having many forms and financial aid informations?

Try to double-use material from your essays as much as possible. I actually didn;t find it to be that difficult.

Don't apply to U Mass. You're too strong academically to be satisfied there.

ManU2d's list in post # 23 looks good. You can't go wrong with those schools...'cept I'd dump Barnard.
