WHY do lots of practice tests for critical reading improvement work?

my choice of words is careful and refined not like a third grader

no... you just try to use the biggest word possible, and it makes you sound like a fool.

"no... you just try to use the biggest word possible, and it makes you sound like a fool."

In your opinion- believe what you want. I don't really care....
No I do not pluck out the biggest word, my writing flows naturally...
.....And don't give another ad-hominem fallacy response to this please it's just not good debate

Assume that i am the FOOL....
So what....being the "fool" is fun....I'd rather be the fool than try to make the fool of someone else...there's something called humbleness...something that niether my word choice nor your response demonstrates....interesting...

Hyper--How is TuftsPlease's response an ad-hominem attack? In no way is he/she refuting your argument because you are who you are. He/she’s just refuting it on the grounds that your style of argument is both dull and unimpressive.

Plus, read Orwell's Politics and the English Language. I don't know if you write the way you do to annoy people or to show off-OR simply in this lazy style-either way, take a lesson from Orwell on linguistic precision.

"annoy people or show off"

For the millionth time I am not trying to do either of these things. I am just analyzing for its own sake...it's a hobby of mine :) OR IS IT???

Maybe I'm just trying to be HUMOROUS.... My verboseness could be a satire of something else in and of itself...

You never know these days....what others on the internet are doing....

i think you are just really fake and need attention....

I've gotten a lot of attention! So much so that I have been classified in multiple ways ---- verbose, idiotic,
to name a few: keep those responses coming

No I did not INTEND TO GET attention

It is just an unintentional consequence

I am just trying to be analytical. FOr the millionth and first time!

okay, here goes...

when you practice a test, you become better at it- since you are familiarizing yourself with the material. now let this idiotic conversation end.....

Okay lets end it :)

My apologies...all this argument was just my stubborness.... but I still love analysis...I never try to show off or anything...just doing it out of passion...

This post is now dead.

Well, that was an adventure.
