Why do most ppl say, Latitude>Inspiron???

<p>Well I have an inspiron 9100 right now, and its been awesome so far. No problems whatsoever :)</p>

<p>I've heard it so many times that the latitudes are better than the inspirons, but I have no clue as to why? Any particular reason?</p>

<p>Because Latitudes are aimed at businesses and built to last longer? That's basically what I've heard.</p>

<p>Latitudes are built with different materials, and are designed to compete with the quality-built ThinkPads. The inspiron line is designed to provide a cheaper product to compete with cheaper competition.</p>

<p>Also, Latitude tech support is in the U.S. Much better than Inspiron support in India.</p>
