Really? It's hot and it tastes horrible!

Cheaper than crack.

I like cappacino, it has coffee in it, but it doesn't taste like coffee and you don't have to drink it hot. Yet it still has the boost from the caffeine. So I like it. Yup.

because the taste is amazing

I love the aroma of coffee. I drink coffee for the aroma. Plus, people have caffeine addictions.

But I prefer tea much better. It's lighter and healthier (MUCH healthier).

Coffee as a hot beverage sort of grew on me, though I still think completely black coffee is gross.

because it tastes terrible. Really, what did you expect to hear?

Also, I didn't want to say this due to the littluns out there, but I feel I must add this in: coffee (more specifically caffeine) is a natural alternative to viagra (in most circumstances.) I just know this because I had to do like a project on caffeine in middle school, and I added this in to make my teacher feel awkward and to have the class laugh. But I do not, and I repeat, I do NOT drink coffee for this reason (and anyways, I usually don't drink coffee at all, it is bad for too many reasons, tea is much better especially due to its antioxidants (like flavanoids) that actually help protect some functions of the brain, as well as help your digestive system.)

Yaaaaay! I killed the thread...I'm good at that!

maybe coz its the next best thing to booze, and is acceptable by society

My goodness! That is much too inappropriate Harry! This is a family forum!!!!

no its not!

EDIT: and yea, ur getting too eager about family, aren't u, nyjunior?

EDIT AGAiN: The above statement was not meant to bring back hopes of marriage.

But...but...I didn't...ooooh, alright!

coffee is good and it keeps me running all day.

caffeine pills are cheaper and more effective.
plus, there's no disgusting flavor.
and no brewing time.

where are you getting that info? How can you say "MUCH" healthier? a cup of coffee only has 5 calories in it, same with tea. It has no fat and is shown to lower the risk of diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and colon cancer.

21st age: When we determine healthiness of food the by amount of calories in it!

Coffee & tea both have tentatively proven health benefits.

I agree with you, but when someone says something is less healthy by a factor of "MUCH" you would assume that inferior product had a lot of fat, or sugar, or sodium...all of which contribute to high calories!

agreed.
BLACK coffee has some health benefits.
3 creams, 4 sugars or whatever godawful stuff you put in it turns it into a health nightmare.
