<p>my great grandma and her husband got tattoos together when they got married. He has passed away now, but she still has that tattoo and I doubt she regrets it.
Yes, the tatoo is hard to distinguish on her wrinkled skin, but I think its cute.</p>

<p>most tattoos would be meaningful, I think. Maybe a saying to live by, or a family member.</p>
<p>Tattoos that are physical representations of an abstract belief, ideal, or source of inspiration to the person are meaningful tattoos. </p>
<p>To people who know what they’re doing, tattoos represent something greatly important in their life, and serve as a visual reminder of it to both the wearer and observers. It would hold on to its significance, and therefore never regress into the laughable stain some of you have been referring to.</p>

I know personally, I would not get a tattoo at this point because I’m still trying to figure out myself. However, I think tattoos can say a lot about the person (both positive and negative).</p>
<p>While some people get funny tattoos simply because they are cool, I am inclined to think that the vast majority find their tattoos meaningful and important.</p>
